Learning to address and cope with life's challenges, pain and difficulties is only the first part of this story. It’s only part of what we do. We also want you to find your way back to a life of purpose, passion, connection and achievement. We want to help you reignite the ‘why’ of your life.
Without any of the constraints or challenges you are facing, what would you like to do, or start doing again, tomorrow that you aren’t doing, or can't do, today?
What are those actions and activities that bring (or you think might just bring) a sense of accomplishment, peace and meaning into your life? And what's getting in the way of that? We all face barriers of this sort – some are internal, and some are from the outside world.
Maybe its anxiety, stress, competing demands on your time, or your motivation? Maybe there's a problem or dilemma that needs to be solved, something you can't find your way through on your own. We have the tools to help you address these things. That doesn’t mean that we are necessarily an expert in you or the challenges you face, but we can help you work your own way through. We can help you to tear down those barriers that are getting in the way of you doing what is important.
These aren't easy questions to answer. Sometimes, we just don't know the answer straight away. This is actually really common. Our lives can get so swept up in doing what's essential, what's necessary to survive, following all those 'shoulds' and 'musts' that we lose our direction. It's sometimes then hard to find our way back. We lose the sense of being the person we aspire to be, and we stop taking action to be that person. Our goal is to help you rediscover this version of you and get you back on track.
We often refer to this as 'doing what matters' and this forms an important part of our programmes. We can help you explore those things that are really important for you as an individual with openness and non-judgement. We can help you to creatively problem-solve ways to bring down those barriers that are getting in the way of you doing those things, using all the modern therapeutic and coaching techniques at our disposal. And then finally we can help you to commit yourself to the right action of doing what really matters, supported by us (or even some other form of support group or system) to help keep you accountable and on track.
